Meet the Team

tracy Tracey Pellegrine – General Manager/Company Secretary

A former community development worker for the Herringthorpe area of Rotherham, Tracey has been with Creation from the very beginning. She has worked within the community sector for over 10 years, and has extensive experience in running
both a community led and private business.

Tracey is a Director on a local partnership and a School Governor for a local comprehensive school, she has over 16 years experience in both the community and private sector with a strong financial and personnel background.

Tracey has headed a team of 168 whilst in a previous Senior Management position and was instrumental in the inception of Creation Recycling Ltd by participating in the original feasibility study whilst working at Valley Community Partnership and Voluntary Action Rotherham. Tracey has extensive experience with both funders and relevant organisations.

Meet Our New Apprentice – Nathan Newton

Nathan joined us for a 2 week work experience programme from a local comprehensive school in March 2005 and has continued to volunteer his time to date. Nathan has passed his Reach and Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licence and will be attending RCAT in September 2006 whilst continuing to work part-time for Creation as our apprentice.
Meet Steven Mutch – Operations Supervisor

Steve joined us in September 2004 as a Pedestrian Controlled Vehicle Operative. Steve has proven himself to be an invaluable asset to the organisation. He has passed his NVQ Level II in Environmental Conservation through training provided by Environmental Monitoring Solutions (http://www.em-solutions.co.uk) and is currently working towards his Level III, he has also achieved his Reach and Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licence and Driving Licence through Creation. Steve is responsible for the day to day running of Operations.
Meet Ian Ball – Senior Operative

Ian joined us in September 2004 as Pedestrian Controlled Vehicle Operative. He has passed his NVQ Level II in Environmental Conservation through training provided by Environmental Monitoring Solutions and is will shortly be working towards his Level III, he has also achieved his Reach and Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licence through Creation. Ian is responsible for the day to day running of the Warehouse Operation.
Meet Peter Lees – Wharf Organiser

Pete Joined us in August 2005 through the Phoenix Enterprise ILM Programme. Pete worked tirelessly for the company and has proven to be an invaluable asset, as a result, Pete was offered this position upon completion of his course. Pete in responsible for the day to day operation of the Wharf area.
Meet Margaret – Administrative Officer

Margaret is a resident in the local area and spends a considerable amount of her time helping out with administrative duties.
 
Board of Directors

Don Pennock – Chairman – Springwell Gardens Resident

A resident within the area for over 20 years with experience within the community sector. Currently joint chair of Eastwood and Springwell Gardens Neighbourhood Pathfinder and a member of the Eastwood Forum. Don has extensive experience within the community sector and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Board.

An experience community activist and is currently acting as treasurer on the Eastwood & Springwell Management Pathfinder Board. He is also a Director and Treasurer of Voluntary Action Rotherham. Previous experience includes a senior management position with South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive.

Unemployed Community Activist. Member of the Valley Partnership Steering Group, chairs the Employment & Learning Sub Group and was a member of the Steering Group for the Recycling Feasibility Study. Previously managed a furniture recycling project.

Borough Councillor, Parish Councillor and a member of the Dalton, Thrybergh and Hooton Roberts Community Partnership. 20 years experience at Rother Valley College lecturing on environmental issues.

Kath is an experience community activist and sits on a multitude of boards in Rotherham. Kath has extensive experience of running a business and a broad knowledge of community and funding issues. Kath is currently the Chair of the Valley Community Partnership and the Herringthorpe Forum.
